Hello!
I have been wanting to update this for a few weeks but haven’t known what to say…I have had a few issues regarding my training in the last month due to an underlying health complication but I am determined to continue with my training and to compete in the competition. It just means I need to adjust my training to fit around what I can physically achieve.
I am feeling much more positive now and working togther with Rob we have found a programme that works. I also had my measurements re done and my body fat is now 12.35% down from 13.58% 2 months ago and I have gained 2lb which is looking like muscle so I’m feeling that all my hard work is paying off and I can see the changes in my body.
Diet wise I have cut out dairy, gluten, wheat and other processed foods other than the occasional treat to try and help keep the inflammation down. I am also eating lots of ginger as that is a natural anti inflammatory. I am eating 6 small meals a day and trying to eat more protein to help me build more muscle. I am not a big meat eater so am finding it a bit of a struggle but I’m eating lots of protein rich nuts, seeds and beans too.
It’s only a week and a half until the Training Camp for the Camp where we practise our walk, posing etc and get lots of information about the competition and what the Judges are looking fo. I have my bikini and heels ready although I am feeling very nervous about turning up and feeling VERY out of place!
I plan on getting some pics of my progress updated this week so keep your eyes peeled..
Have a good week, I’m off to train 🙂
