I’m very pleased to have Alex as part of the team as our new competitive weightlifting coach. He’s not only a personal friend of mine but has helped me develop PB from day 1.
Alex started general gym training at 15 and at 17 decided to try Olympic weightlifting. Not long after, I needed to put a team together so that we could all get on to a local weightlifting league – this was Alex’s first taste of competitive weightlifting.
Just a few years later he excelled with gold at a British weightlifting regional competition and a bronze at British Junior Championships. His long term goal is to snatch 140kg. He currently snatches 108kg and clean and jerks 130kg.
With extensive knowledge on mobility, strength and conditioning and programming Alex brings group classes and 1-1 coaching to Point Blank Fitness.
Before we announce the weightlifting class timetable we are offering three 1 hour coaching sessions with one of PB’s coaches for £100 (normally £120). This allows you to get a feel of the lifts before committing to a class. If you would like to take advantage of this offer click HERE.
We have a very unique set up at the House of Fitness which now has 3 platforms. Not only that, but we are running weightlifting courses that are structured with excellent coaching and online support like no other. Please be aware that our classes will only hold 6-8 people and the course is between 4-12 weeks per training cycle. People on the classes will have priority on the progressing programs. This means once the places have sold out it will be likely that they stay on the classes long term.
